I will tell you a short story of me
Murat Tursun,born in eastern Anatolia moved to İstanbul at the age of 12.in the school holidays I have learnt how to restore kilims and fell in love with designs and colors of kİlims.still in love..lived nearly 2 years in London restaured rugs and kilims and have learnt european art of weavings as well. Of course had oppurtinity improve my english.Left university in the third class to do my own bussines in İstanbul..then lived in Germany long years and travelled a lot in the World.since one year I am back in İstanbul and deceided to make pillows.I trvell in whole Anatolia.it is a great fieling totravel in Anatolia and finde exelent materials to make cushions.each piece I have to see and fiel it before I buy then they should be profesionally washed before they came to my workshop.I cut them in a right form, design and colors.than I have them in my workshop.now starts the hard work for me,(I haveover 10 different sizes of pillows)I have to cut them with right sizes as front pillows than for back of pillows, I cut fabric coton cloths as same size of the front. I securely sew them together ,put zipper at the back and to last iron them.
